I have OpenVPN GUI on Windows Server 2008 & can connect fine from a Windows 8 client. However, after a few hours - whether the client is connected or not - the server disconnects and doesn't reconnect (ie - the VPN becomes unavailable) - and I have to manually 'connect' it . Once I have done that - I can connect again with the client.
