Using my old NetGear router in the opposite corner of my house with a connection via a long Ethernet cable (through the basement) worked great. I was able to lock my primary Cisco/Linksys router to Channel 11 and the secondary NetGear router is on Channel 1. Time will tell how it performs in a busy wireless spectrum (my old AC router dropped signal on occasion). But for now, I’m impressed with the performance of this less expensive WiFi 6 router. By the way, the Linksys app reports low signals to the connected devices but if you check the devices themselves, they report strong signals. My old router would drop down to the 39Mpbs on the opposite side of my house whereas this one can maintain at least 177Mpbs and often more. So far during my ownership the stability of this device has reminded me of the old Linksys routers how even the cheap ones never locked up. I’m hoping it stays this way.
