I just wanna if is there any way possible to play PS3 using my Laptop (except with EasyCap, i don't have one) it can be any way guys might think, but just needs to be in my Laptop. it does not. It just gives you an HDMI input to connect TVs. So given that the idea others threw that with a tuner one can display ps3 in a laptop's screen, if you go buy a tuner with HD support (apparently having HDMI input) you are done. Sep 09, 2010 · You can convert HDMI to DVI with a simple, $5 cable because they are both digital signalsCheck your monitors specs and if it is HDCP-compliant, and has dvi or hdmi input, you can use your ps3 on it. You would need either an hdmi or hdmi-to-dvi cable.

Speaking from personal experience, I can say it works very well as I played through large portions of Persona 4 Golden via streaming and I never encountered any issues. 1) Connect your PS3 to your laptop with an ethernet cable. 2) Set your laptops ethernet IP to a static address, say 10.1.1.1. 3) Set your laptops DNS to 255.255.255.0 4) On your PS3 wired connection setup, enter all the same numbers like in the laptop, except IP to 10.1.1.2. 5) Complete setup. 6) Done! If it is to play games using your laptop as a screen, you are better off using emulators such as PCSX2 on your laptop - you'll get far higher game resolutions through that.
