VPS (512MB RAM, single CPU core, 1TB bandwidth, 30GB SSD); Dedicated server (2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 2 CPU cores (4 threads)) The Raspberry Pi is a decent option, but I doubt any provider would be willing to co-locate such a small device. The VPS is again a good option, but doesn't have much in the way of resources but is the cheapest option.
Out of the box it's set up to use our VPN provider (IP Vanish) but we give root and shell and all that good stuff so you could configure it to connect to a server at your home if you wanted. It's designed to have more CPU power to deal with OpenVPN being a hog and also has quite a bit more ram than average routers (256MB).

At Mobile World Congress 2016, the Keezel portable VPN machine, due out in June, is hoping to make those issues a thing of the past with its $99 (plus $5 per month subscription). Are there any ram based VPN solutions that have options to keep no logs? I've been looking to set up a portable linux distro, probably Debian, that I'd run from CD without any form of persistence. It would only be used as an throughput vpn by a small team of users. what are my options?
